NJ man accused of killing goose

MANASQUAN, N.J. - Authorities have filed an animal cruelty charge against a New Jersey man who was frustrated because a goose defecated on his deck.Authorities say David Martens fired two shots from a pellet gun to scare the bird.But Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals chief Victor Amato says at least one of the pellets struck and killed the goose. The 65-year-old Manasquan resident is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on July 8.
